Except for the fact that Gila has never been pronounced with a G sound in any language ever. It's a specific name.
The Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum, /-êhi-Él+Ö/ HEE-l+Ö) is a species of venomous lizard native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexican state of Sonora.
HEE-l+Ö
Say it right, it's not a complicated word.
